Forger Yang Seo-ho can copy any painter, living or dead. Elise Navarre, the elegant wife of reclusive collector Augustin Vaudrey, hires him for one summer at their villa on Lake Como with two jobs: copy five paintings from her husband's private gallery, and forge a love letter addressed to her from a man who doesn't exist. Don't ask why, she says, and don't touch the wife. Then her husband comes home early.
