Bae Rin has slain twelve dragons, and the crown pays her a fortune for one last job: keep the last dragon alive for thirty days, until the Blood Moon. At the top of the Ash Tower she finds no beast, only Woo Do-kyung, a tired, scarred man in silver chains who seems to know her far too well. Her own guild wants him dead. The prince wants his heart. And the dragon blood that made Rin a legend has started to burn her alive.
