Evicted painter Im Si-won takes the job nobody keeps: living for thirty nights in the Ivy House, a haunted 1930s mansion that Wang Ji-hye, Seoul's most feared divorce lawyer, won in her own divorce and wants sold within the month. Six house-sitters fled after one night. Si-won meets the ghost, a glamorous jazz singer named Sagong Yeon-hwa, and she offers him a deal: help her save the house, and she'll help him win its owner. Soon the doors start locking themselves at very convenient moments.
