Her Last Entry

A year after his wife Clara drowned off Merrow Island, crime novelist Adrian Kessler rents the cottage she secretly rented, to learn why she came. The villagers whisper that his last novel predicted her death. Lighthouse keeper Raven Sinclair, the island's witch, found the body and wants him gone. Then Clara's diary starts writing again, in her hand, the ink still wet. The first entry is a warning. The second sends him up two hundred stairs to Raven's door.
