Curator Elise Navarre discovers that the Ilwol Museum's priceless masterpiece is a forgery, and the certificate of authenticity carries her own signature. Alone in the storage vault at midnight, she hears a voice from a dusty 1936 portrait: Yang Seo-ho, a gentleman con man cursed into oil, who watched the swap from the wall. He'll name the thief if she sets him free. Every night he steps out of the frame until dawn, and every night his lies wear thinner.
