Ten years ago rally legend Kwak Jin-man died on Stage Nine of the Sahara Crown. Now his daughter, ex-army mechanic Kwak Min-seo, has rebuilt his car, and no co-driver will sit in it except Dante Rivera, a banned motocross wild man who talks too much, drives too fast and reads the desert like a love letter. Twelve stages, a brake line cut on the very first night, and a partner who goes quiet every time she says her father's name. The desert is hot. The nights are hotter.
